Am interested in any info on Charles Edward Denman (b. Va.1890-d. Eliz.,NJ 1943), wife Wilhelmine Maercker Denman (b. Brooklyn 1885- d. Linden, NJ 1950), sons Walter Charles Denman (b. Brooklyn 1910-d. Edison NJ 1974) and William Edward Denman (b. Brooklyn 1913-d. Rahway Hosp., NJ date unknown). This family live in Jersey City some time after 1913, and husband drove a trolley car on Old Bergen Road.

Thank you,
Bea Denman Howley

Bea,
Have you tried searching city directories or even newspaper articles for the family? The NJ Room of the Jersey City Free Public Library has Jersey City and Hoboken directories from the late 19th century until at least the first quarter of the 20th as well as microfilmed issues of the Jersey Journal, The Hudson Observer and possibly more. Try contacting the library or visiting in person (if possible).
