Posted - 06/28/2008 : 05:05:04 AM Bea, Have you tried searching city directories or even newspaper articles for the family? The NJ Room of the Jersey City Free Public Library has Jersey City and Hoboken directories from the late 19th century until at least the first quarter of the 20th as well as microfilmed issues of the Jersey Journal, The Hudson Observer and possibly more. Try contacting the library or visiting in person (if possible).
