I am trying to find family ties in the Bayonne NJ area.
I have found that most of my family originated in Bayonee in the Mid 1800's
My name is Richard Cassidy
A large number of Cassidy's worked at Standard Oil in Bayonne
My Father is Irwin F Cassidy - born in Bayonne 1906
His father is James F Cassidy - Born in Bayonne, 1880, Married to Isabelle Gracie (Pitts PA), born 1884 - moved to Standard Oil in CA
His father is Thomas Cassidy - lived in Bayonne, 1861, from England, married Mary Morgan, bron 1863, from Ireland. Their children were
James F Cassidy
Mary A Cassidy
Margaret E. Cassidy
Joseph T Cassidy
Henry A Cassidy
Lucius Cassidy
Thomas and James worked at Standard Oil in Bayonne
James moved to the San Franciso Area in the early 1900's and worked at Standard Oil in Richmond CA
I have recently found Lucius's son Lucius Jr, in Colorado
In my grandmother (Belle Gracie) scrapbook there are two articles about William A Cassidy. He apparently worked at Standard also, for 60ish years. The article mentioned many Cassidy's working at Standard..... I suspect somehow he is related to Thomas and James
If you can point me to anyone or organization who can help me, I'd very much appreciate it.
