Hello all,
I'm trying to find more info about or descendants of John P. Small (1830-1901), originally from Easton PA and last residing at 198 Pacific Ave. Jersey City. He is buried in Bayview Cemetery.
John Small was associated with the Morris Canal as a Boat Agent and Wrecker. His son-in-law was Jersey City lawyer Ezra K. Seguine. John was married twice (to Caroline, who died suddenly in 1882) and to Susie W. Buss (from whom I am descended).
I am especially looking for more info about John's association with the Morris Canal, and for any known descendants.
