My second great grandmother Caroline Lembert died in 1891 in Guttenberg. She was buried in The Lutheran Cemetery, Middle Village, Queens, NY. Cemetery is now called All Faiths, I believe.
They had previously lived in Manhattan, and already owned the plot in which several of their small children were buried. You might wish to consider places this family has previously lived as clues.
Also, there are death certificates for that time period for NJ that are obtainable through the NJ Archives. That is where I got my lead to the cemetery for my ancestor. Of course, the death certificate only said "Lutheran Cemetery," and it took a lot of calling around to locate it. I forgot there was more than one variety of Lutheran church (see phone book) - may need to call several.
Good Luck
