I will help you find your relatives buried in Holy Name cemetery (Jersey City)prior to Dec 1984. These indexes are digitized (photos). Listed will be name, age at death, plot # and date of burial.  No fees or charges.

| I am looking for relatives of my husband. The last name is Gottko. John(died 1929) and his wife Anna Gottko(died 1934)had 10 children. The family lived in Bayonne. Other names in the family are: Demjanovich, Barron, Drosdik, Pustay, Gebrian, Rec, Porubsky, Seman, Harscar. Thanks for any help. |

| I'm looking for information on relatives buried at Holy Name Cemetery. Patrick Walton and his wife Mary Ryan Walton. Also their sons Joseph, James and Thomas. Also buried there are members of the Burns Family. Joseph Burns who died in 1974, Helen Walton Burns(d.1980), and Theodora Mahoney Burns. Any info would be appreciated. |

Hi Ed, thanks for your offer to research Holy Name cemetery records! Are you able to get printouts of the microfilm, or do you take notes by hand?

I found a William A Norton buried Aug 15 1885, 29 yrs old, plot E 25 A
Margaret Norton buried Jan 7 1898, 62 yrs old, same plot
John Norton buried July 17 1907, 70 yrs old, same plot
John Norton buried April 30 1897, 27 yrs old, same plot
Catherine Norton buried Aug 1 1915, 50 yrs old, same plot

Thank you again for all your help! Because of the info you gave me, I have been able to finally find my grandparents' graves. I recently discovered that my great aunt may also be buried in Holy Name. Her name was Grace Boyle, born around 1865 and died sometime between 1900 and 1915. Any info would be greatly appreciated!

Ed, I am looking for James J. Sullivan, died Dec 19 1930, and his wife Mary (Wheeler) Sullivan, died Aug 6 1924. Thank you!
