I have a photo of a little Jersey City boy taken before 1895. He is dressed in a suit with short pants, ruffled shirt, high button shoes and holding his hat. The photo was taken by photographer Stanley Chapman. Chapman lived at 14 Warner St. in Jersey City and had a studio at 626 Ocean Ave. Chapman died in 1894.
My little JC boy is not related to Stanley or his wife, Matilda (Tillie) Rowe Chapman.
I am interested in any family photos by this photographer and would appreciate any help finding the name of this child and his family.
